TE 180 is a microprocessor welding control unit for single-phase resistance
welders. The welding control unit is used to control the welder parts and,
in particular, the thyristor regulating the welding current. It is possible
to program and to store up 15 different welding programs. All the programs
can be recalled directly from the keyboard and from an external source
by means of a PLC. Each program can assume all the configurations included
between the simplest 4 times cycle, up to the most complex one, which can
include the slopes, the pulses, the postheating, the forging and the minimum
and maximum current limits.
