The capacitors bank is charged in a few seconds with a reduced current input; an extremely short discharge enables the welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals up to 8 mm ø in about 2-3 ms.

Studs, threated pins and other fittings can be welded on thin sheets without any modification of the painted, galvanized surface on the side opposite to the welding.
