Sensum® is TECNA’s integrated platform for managing, protecting and connecting the welding process.
It coordinates operator guidance, weld execution and process data within a single control environment, helping ensure that each operation is performed correctly, safely and consistently.
From the first weld point to the completed workpiece, Sensum® guides the process, reacts when an incorrect condition occurs and makes production data available to the customer’s digital systems.
- WPM – Weldpiece management
- CARE – Contact-Aware Reactive Electrode
- SDH – Sensum Data Hub
Sensum Weldpiece Management™
What it does:
- Defines the sequence of weld points
- Automatically selects the required welding program
- Guides the operator to the next weld point to be completed
- Manages process progression and rejected welds
- Documents the part, weld point and welding data

Sensum C.A.R.E.™
C.A.R.E. is a safety and process-control system designed to prevent welding errors caused by incorrect electrode positioning.
It monitors the contact and position of the electrode before the weld is performed. If the operator is about to weld in the wrong position, C.A.R.E. detects the error and prevents the welding cycle from starting.
This helps protect the workpiece, reduce operator mistakes and improve process consistency.
Sensum Data Hub™
SDH collects data from welding operations and processed parts, then integrates it with the customer’s existing systems, databases and applications.
Its value goes beyond data visualization. The core strength of SDH is connectivity, enabling welding data to become part of the customer’s own digital ecosystem and production workflows.
This allows operational data to be shared, stored and used directly within the systems the customer already relies on.
