At the show, TECNA will unveil a series of major innovations, marking an important step forward in the evolution of its resistance welding solutions.
Sensum® platform
At the centre of our EuroBLECH showcase will be Sensum®, TECNA’s new integrated platform for resistance welding process control.
Sensum® brings together:
- Weldpiece Management™: guides the operator through the predefined welding sequence, managing weld points and process progression.
- C.A.R.E.™: monitors electrode position and contact before welding to help prevent errors caused by incorrect positioning.
- Sensum Data Hub™: collects welding data and makes it available to the customer’s databases, applications and production systems.
Sensum Master-Slave Resistance Welding Inverter
TECNA will also present its new Master-Slave Resistance Welding Inverter, extending Sensum® technology to applications with higher power requirements.
Available with nominal output currents of 3600 A and 5000 A, the system combines a web-based user interface with local and remote browser access and optional industrial fieldbus connectivity, including EtherCAT, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.
MFDC Inverter Transformer
Another new addition is the 4000018927 Inverter Transformer, a compact 15.5 kVA MFDC transformer designed for medium-frequency resistance welding applications.
Its diode-rectified secondary provides stable direct current for more uniform welding, while its compact 10 kg design, water cooling and series or parallel wiring options provide flexibility for integration into different machine configurations.
C-Type Robot Spot Welding Gun
TECNA will also showcase its C-Type standard robot spot welding gun, developed for automated resistance welding applications.
The system combines an inverted roller screw actuator with MFDC transformer options of 52 kVA, 83 kvA or 90 kVA Light, providing a welding force of 500 daN or 650 daN. Its configuration is designed for integration into robotic welding cells, with water-cooled transformer and gun systems and compatibility with third-party motors.
